Update on Life

Well many things have changed since the last post. I think I have just been so overwhelmed with everything that is going on that I haven't really wanted to even think about it all. But here is a quick summary...We have had two contracts fall thru on our house selling in LA. We had a very crappy realtor who basically lied to us all the time then suddenly quit her company leaving us without a realtor. We now have a new realtor and a new potential contract in the works. Hopefully things will work out with the buyers' finances this time.
As far as the house we are buying, the sellers are jerks agreed upon by our realtor AND THEIRS. Supposedly their realtor is giving up her commision to help pay for some repairs the house needs because the sellers will not even part with $750 more to sell their home. When my parents came to visit they told us we could stop by to show them the house one of the two days they would be with us. We tried Sunday and they cancelled on us, but said anytime the next day would be fine. Then, the next day they sent a text message cancelling on us saying they had inspectors and such that would be at the house. So, we decided to just drive by to find out that no one was their at all. Our realtor could have easily shown us the house but for some reason they are JERKS!! But in a few days we will own the house and we won't let them in..hehe And the next time my parents come visit we will be living in the house!! =)
To top off all our good luck, Gary has been working 16 hour days for the last three weeks due to a 'turn around' at work where they shut everything down, work on it all, and then have to try to get it all to run again. They only do this every two years, but it has been really draining on both of us. Hopefully he won't have to work on the July 4th holiday, but that is still up in the air. I am very tired of eating dinner after 10pm.
So that's the scoop, oh and Max has been doing well after his surgery. He is back to his old self and adjusting well to his new environment. I can't wait until we get in the new house and he can have the whole yard to play in!!
