6 Month Check-up

Carly had her 6 month check up today. She is doing a great job growing! She weighs 15 lbs and is 26 inches long. She had another round of shots today and did great. Of course she cried while being stuck, but by the time we left she was fine. We enjoyed lunch together with Daddy after the appointment, so she was feeling fine.


Carly is beginning solid foods! So far she likes baby cereal, apple juice, and bananas. We tried avocados but she didn't seem to like the texture. I think Mommy needs to get them even creamier next time. We will be trying sweet potatoes this week. =)

She is also beginning to try a sippy cup. She can drink from it but much prefers to chew on the top. She is definitely teething. The doctor said her top teeth might come in first. They felt a bit closer and you can see them in the gum.
